This Privacy Policy explains what information Wheresej Studio ("the Site") collects when you browse the Site or buy a beat/plugin, and how it's used. The Site sells only its own catalog and does not host third-party or user-submitted content, so this policy is written for a small, single-owner storefront rather than a platform with user accounts.

What Gets Collected

Browsing the Site. Loading the public catalogue and previewing beats doesn't require an account and doesn't set any cookies -- there's no ad-tracking, social-media pixel, or embedded third-party content on the Site, and fonts are served from the Site itself rather than from Google. The Site does count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it records anonymous page views (page visited, referring site, country, browser/device type) and does not store anything on your device, use your IP address to identify you, or track you across other websites. Server logs. Like any website, the Site's hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records basic technical request data -- IP address, browser type, page requested, and time -- for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. These logs are kept only briefly under Vercel's own retention settings and aren't used to identify or profile visitors.

Checkout. Every beat and plugin is sold through its own product page on Gumroad, which handles the payment -- card details are entered directly on Gumroad and never pass through or get stored by this Site. Gumroad acts as the seller of record for the transaction, collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, delivers the purchased file, and notifies the Site of the sale with the buyer's name (if provided) and email, the product bought, and the amount paid, which the Site stores to record the order and generate the Bill of Sale.

Order records. The Site stores each order (product purchased, license type, amount, buyer email, the Gumroad sale reference, and, for a beat, a generated Bill of Sale) in its database, kept as a permanent business and tax record and as your own proof of purchase/ownership.

How It's Used

Order information is used only to: deliver the purchased file and email the buyer their Bill of Sale, respond to support requests about an order, keep the recordkeeping described in the Licensing Terms, and comply with tax/accounting obligations.

A short purchase notification (beat name, license type, price, and buyer email if provided) is sent automatically to the Site owner's own phone via their carrier's email-to-text gateway, so a sale isn't missed -- this is an internal notification to the business owner, not a third party, and isn't used for marketing.

Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, and isn't used to build a marketing list or send unsolicited email.

Who It's Shared With

Only the service providers needed to run the Site and process your order: Vercel (website hosting), Gumroad (payment processing, sales tax/VAT collection, and file delivery), Supabase (database and file storage for order records and Bills of Sale), and Google/Gmail (emailing buyers their Bill of Sale from wheresejofficial@gmail.com, and routing the owner's own purchase text alert). Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes on the Site's behalf.

Information is disclosed beyond these providers only if required by law (e.g., a tax authority or valid legal process), or with your consent.

How Long It's Kept

Order records and Bills of Sale are retained indefinitely as business, tax, and ownership records -- for a Full Buyout in particular, the Bill of Sale is your proof of copyright ownership, so it's kept as a permanent record rather than deleted. File downloads are delivered and managed by Gumroad; the order and Bill of Sale remain accessible on request.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask for a copy of the order/purchase information the Site holds about you, ask that inaccurate information be corrected, or ask about deleting personal information not required for tax/legal recordkeeping, by emailing wheresejofficial@gmail.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights (e.g., under GDPR or a U.S. state privacy law); the Site will honor applicable requests to the extent they don't conflict with the recordkeeping obligations described above.

If you're in the EEA or UK: order information is processed because it's necessary to perform the purchase contract you entered into, and to meet legal (tax and accounting) obligations; server logs are processed under the Site's legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Since checkout is guest-based with no account system, there's no login or account settings to manage -- your only ongoing relationship with the Site after a purchase is the order record described above.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and checkout requires confirming you're old enough to enter a binding agreement (see the Licensing Terms). The Site doesn't knowingly collect information from children.
